Today’s senior spotlight is Jackson Hovda. Jackson has been in the Sartell school district since kindergarten.

Jackson has lived in Sartell for 13 years, coincidentally moving directly next door to his best friend Luke Schumacher. Jackson played soccer in elementary school, football in middle school, and he has been swimming since 7th grade. Jackson plans on swimming in college but hasn’t yet committed.

Jackson has had many great teachers in high school but his favorite is is Caleb Forberg. He says Mr. Forberg is chill, funny, and is very understanding.

Jackson has many hobbies such as swimming, lifting, and road biking. Jackson’s favorite memory of biking is when he went biking in the morning with David Binsfeld and Charlie Lindell, when all of a sudden he got ambushed by David and Charlie and was eliminated from the Nerf war.

Jackson has narrowed his college options down to three options, all of which he would swim and pursue a dental career.
