Jules Bistro, a restaurant in downtown St. Cloud, hosted the St. Cloud String Quartet last weekend for a morning filled with live music.

Jules Bistro! The place to be in downtown St. Cloud if you’re looking for a higher-end breakfast, lunch, or dinner spot.

Jules Bistro, located on St. Germain Street in St. Cloud is one of many restaurants downtown, but it is unique in its cozy atmosphere and delectable menu. Jules Bistro prides itself on its versatility in various meals, with its motto: “Delightfully Different, Made From Scratch.”

That’s right, Jules Bistro uses all fresh ingredients to make their menu items using the highest quality ingredients available. With this being said, I would rank Jules Bistro as being one of the higher-priced restaurants in the area, but you get the quality you pay for.

I arrived at Jules at 11:00 AM, with just enough time to pick something off of their breakfast menu. Jules serves breakfast every day from 8 AM to 12 PM, lunch is served from 12 PM to 4 PM, and dinner is offered from 4 PM to 8 PM. I was impressed with their delightfully unique breakfast menu, offering plates that were authentically Mexican with Chilaquiles, (I definitely recommend this plate if you are looking for a savory breakfast!) to a twist on a classic meal, PB and J crepes.

In addition to the meals that Jules serves for breakfast, they also have a wide assortment of pastries to enjoy. The berry roll, a twist on the classic cinnamon roll, is a must if you are looking for a sweet treat! However, Jules runs out of pastries quickly so if you are looking to enjoy a good pastry and coffee for breakfast, I would recommend getting to Jules as soon as they open at 8 AM.

Along with their mouth-watering pastries, Jules also offers delicious lattes and other hand-crafted drinks that pair nicely with their breakfast menu. My personal favorite hand-crafted drink from Jules is their Sugar Cookie Almond Latte. If you enjoy a nice hot coffee, (or iced! I just haven’t tried it that way) the Sugar Cookie Almond Latte will hit the spot. The espresso that they use for their drinks is unmatched, with a smooth, rich, coffee taste it is one of my favorites.

My only drawback with Jules Bistro is its inaccessibility. With its downtown St. Cloud location, customers are required to pay for metered parking before going in to eat. Alas, Jules Bistro is a spot in St. Cloud that is like no other!
