Don’t be afraid of smelling bad this summer! I have a list of the best smells for the summer.

Fragrances are known to leave a lasting impression and trigger memories. This is why it’s important to choose the perfect scent for this summer.

As a person who loves perfume and body sprays, I’ve created a list of my top choices this summer and why.

♥♥♥

Perfume:

Burberry Her (Pink Bottle)

This perfume smells like blackberry, strawberry, vanilla, amber, and sandalwood. (McKenna Petron)

This is a very fruity scent that is best for outside or packed events in my opinion. It is very strong and lasts a long time, so you don’t have to worry about it fading while you’re at a busy event or doing some outside activity. If you have a busy spring break itinerary, I’d definitely get your hands on this perfume so you can smell great the whole time.

Burberry Her (Green Bottle)

This smells like peony, green pear, honeysuckle and fresh rose. (McKenna Petron)

This is a good choice all year round. It smells very sophisticated with a hint of green apple. It’s very subtle but when you get a whiff of it, you can’t get enough. I’d recommend this for date night this summer. I typically layer this with Sol de Janeiro no. 62 to add a little bit of sweetness. Together, this creates the perfect caramel apple scent that doesn’t smell cheap.

VS Tease Cremé Cloud

The scent notes are vanilla meringue, santal flower, and sheer amber. (McKenna Petron)

This is a more affordable perfume that is very fresh. It screams clean girl, and it really makes you want to put on a sundress and walk around an outside strip mall. I usually pair this with a fruity or coconut body spray depending on what I’m going for. I love how you can pair this perfume with any body spray and create a perfect scent. I will say that the scent doesn’t last as long as some of the others but I personally love this most when I’m freshly showered after a long day at the beach.

Jimmy Choos I Want Choo

This is a combination of vanilla, jasmine, mandarin, and peach. (McKenna Petron)

This perfume can match any occasion but my top favorite is when I’m wearing a bright colored top, and I just want a soft and sweet smell that will really enhance my look. I feel like this perfume screams elegance and is super fun for when I’m going out to dinner with some friends while the sun is starting to set.

Body Spray:

B&BW Copper Coconut Sand

This smells like sun-kissed coconut, orchid petals, and creamy sandalwood. (McKenna Petron)

This is a very beachy scent that really makes you feel like you should be out in the sun soaking up the rays. Every time I put this on it reminds me of hot summer days and tanning. It’s a very good subtle coconut that pairs well with sweet smelling perfumes like Jimmy Choos I Want Choo.

Hollister Glow

This smells like both coconut and pineapple at the same time. (McKenna Petron)

This is a pineapple coconut scented spray that really just makes it feel like summer is right around the corner. This scent reminds me of the last few days of school when the sun is out and everyone is excited to be out for the summer. The scent lasts fairly long but definitely needs to be put on again later during the day for the full effect.

Sol de Janeiro 62

This body spray smells just like caramel, pistachio, and vanilla. (McKenna Petron)

This is basically a staple in your perfume collection. It completely transforms nearly every fragrance into a fun and sweet scent. I absolutely love this in the summer when I need a cute scent to go over my perfumes. It really just makes you feel like it’s golden hour all the time. I will be restocking this perfume any time I get low for the rest of my life.

Sol de Janeiro Rio Radiance

This smells like rich vanilla, creamy coconut, and juicy mango. (McKenna Petron)

This smells like you live on the beach. It is a very clean coconut scent that has a hint of baby powder in my opinion. Many people describe this to smell like a good sunscreen, but I don’t get that from this. I love putting this on after I laid out on the beach for a few hours and went to a smoothie shop after to cool down.
