I’m going to Starbucks and I am ordering each of the new Holiday Beverages!

Every winter, Starbucks releases their new seasonal holiday drinks, storewide, and people who love cozy drinks during the frosty cold weather go crazy!

The holiday season is never complete without getting your favorite holiday drink from Starbucks! Nothing compares to sitting in a coffee shop, holding your warm festive beverage, while watching the snowflakes fall through the window. But how do you decide which drink to get?

♥♥♥

Lucky for you, I went ahead and tried each of the drinks and wrote down exactly how I felt about them and what they tasted like! I have my reviews listed below in order from my favorite to my least favorite.

Iced Sugar Cookie Almond Milk Latte

This drink is made of Blonde espresso, sugar cookie syrup, and red and green sprinkles. (Fair use photo from Starbucks)

This drink seemed to have the most flavor to it. It was really good, and I enjoyed the blend of coffee and sweetness. I’d probably ask for this without the sprinkles next time because it threw me off. I’d take a sip and get a mouthful of sprinkles which was a weird feeling. I personally do not like chewing while drinking coffee, but maybe that’s just me. Brita Klaverkamp tried this drink with cold foam on top and said that it was much better this way.

Iced Peppermint Mocha

This drink is made of their signature espresso roast, mocha and peppermint flavoring, and chocolate curls on top of the whipped cream. (Fair use photo from Starbucks)

This one has always been one of my favorites of their holiday drinks. It’s the perfect representation of winter, with its minty chocolate and whipped cream. I love eating the little chocolate curls on top too. This, to me, seems like the most comforting drink on the menu. I also like this drink with white chocolate instead of milk chocolate. You can buy the iced espresso version of this from the store, so you can have this drink without having to go to Starbucks everyday!

Iced Gingerbread Chai Latte

This drink is made with oat milk, gingerbread flavoring, and pumpkin spice toppings. (Fair use photo from Starbucks)

This one took me so long to figure out what it tasted like. But halfway through, it clicked. It tastes like brown sugar and cinnamon oatmeal. Which caught me off guard when I took my first sip because it was not at all what I was expecting. One of my friends told me that it tasted like their Pumpkin Chai, but I didn’t think so. I am also not a fan of oat milk in general, so I’m sure that someone who likes oat milk would give a different review.

Iced Caramel Brulée Latte

This is made with their signature espresso roast, caramel brulée flavoring, and caramel toppings on top of whipped cream. (Fair use photo from Starbucks)

This drink is super sweet. I am not a huge fan of the syrupy drinks, however, when I was a little kid I would have absolutely loved this. This drink makes more sense as a Frappuccino which they do offer this drink as a frappe as well! So I’m sure that if you are a fan of sweet drinks you would enjoy this drink.

Chestnut Praline Latte

This drink if made with their signature espresso, caramelized chestnut flavoring, and praline crumbs on top of whipped cream. (Fair use photo from Starbucks )

I remember this drink being much better to be honest. I was very confused when I took a sip, and it was nothing like I remembered. The chestnut was very potent and the flavor was very confusing. I don’t think that I would personally order this again, but it wasn’t awful.

Gingerbread Latte

This drink is made with blonde espresso, gingerbread flavoring, with pumpkin spice on top of whipped cream. (Fair use photo from Starbucks)

I had no idea what I was tasting with this one. When you would first take a small sip it was good, but the ginger overpowered too much. It tastes like you took a bite of those cinnamon ornaments my mom found on made me gift my whole family. This was not an enjoyable experience if I’m being honest.

This year, Starbucks had a wide variety of drinks including a new Chai Latte. I’d say that my opinions haven’t changed too much in the last year and my order will be staying the same.

♥♥♥

This article should help you decide what drink you will get before you curl up in front of the fireplace. Whether you prefer the Chestnut Praline or the Peppermint Mocha, this season will be holly and jolly with a Starbucks cup in hand!
