My dad and I went to Cancun, Mexico for my 18th birthday and senior trip.  We went from my birthday on January 31st to February 5th. We stayed at Planet Hollywood Hotel in the Director’s Suite; it was so nice and all of the staff were always making sure my dad and I were okay.

We went on one excursion to Chichén Itzá. My dad surprised me with a private tour so we got to experience the trip to Chichén and other stops by ourselves instead of on a big bus with 20 other people. This excursion brought us through many different and beautiful places.

The rest of the time in Mexico was spent swimming in the pool, floating down the lazy river, tanning, or eating at one of the many restaurants that were in the hotel.
