Central Minnesota native Dylan Welle is sharing his knowledge, and the knowledge of others on his outdoors podcast. The Welcome to Welle’s Sportsman Show has been on air for the past year, and it highlights fishing and hunting stories, along with tips and tricks to help others in pursuit of their favorite game.

Dylan Welle has been an avid outdoorsman spending much of his time hunting and fishing throughout the years. A few years ago he made an instagram page, Welle’s Sportsman Show Instagram, dedicated to showing his trophies which he now has almost 600 followers.

Dylan initially named the page after his nickname, Walleye Welle, a name that he’s picked up from one of his target fish to catch. The podcast was started in January of 2021 and has now accumulated over 40 episodes and almost 2,000 plays on Spotify in the last year, ranging from pheasant and deer hunting, to spearing pike in the winter.

Recently, Dylan has been making his own line of merchandise for his podcast. The shirts and stickers were very popular which has opened the door for Dylan to start designing hats and sweatshirts. This is just a start for Dylan as he is following one of his favorite passions.

Dylan said, “I hope to see my podcast at the same caliber as The Meat Eater Podcast. I want to be the Joe Rogan of the outdoor industry and I’m not going to stop until I get there.”
