The COVID Diaries: Entry 22
Hi there friends! Today is another great day!
I unfortunately did not get too many drawing requests so I would greatly appreciate it if you would respond to this Google Form and give me some more suggestions. I finished two of them already and you can see them below. I had a ton of fun creating these, so I really hope you like them. I love communicating with readers and bringing your imagination to life.
Lately, I’ve been struggling with motivation with distance learning. I am really missing in-person school. Don’t get me wrong, there are some major benefits to online school, for example, sleeping in, more free time, my mom is home with us, and I get to hang out with my siblings and pets all day. But, I miss seeing people face to face every day and the real connections that come with it. I miss my teachers and friends. I sometimes wonder if we will ever get back to normal.
Life has changed so drastically and we have adapted so much to this new life that I don’t think anything will ever be the same again. Maybe it will be good, but it is sometimes hard to think that when lockdowns have caused so much emotional and mental struggle for people.
Still, I want to see the glass half full, so I’ll try to end today on a positive note. Today try to look for the positives in your life. Make a list of things that make you happy. Here’s my list of things that make me smile (in no particular order):
- Jesus
- Art
- Writing fun articles for you to enjoy
- My pets
- Being silly with my family
- Music
- Seeing other people happy
- Learning new things
- Books
- Being outside
Thank you for visiting, I hope to see you back here soon! 🙂
