Sartell High School’s Student Council works hard to get people to sign up for the biannual Red Cross Blood Drive.
Every year, the Sartell High School Student Council partners with the American Red Cross to put on a successful day of blood donations.
Each person who decides to donate their blood when the Red Cross comes to the high school saves three lives, which for the facilities receiving the donations, means the world to them!
Blood Bank of Alaska states that 43,000 pints of blood are used a day in the United States and Canada and that someone needs blood nearly every two seconds across the world.
When you donate at a blood drive, you may have to give up an hour of your time, but your donation of time and blood helps save lives!
The next Blood Drive is Wednesday, December 18th, and open slots are starting at 8 am and ranging until 2 pm. For more information look around the school for posted information. Check out the link below to donate: Sign up to donate blood!
