Alexandra Davis ends up dropping lawsuit against Jerry Jones the owner of Dallas Cowboys.

At the end of March in the Dallas area Alexandra Davis filed the lawsuit claiming that Jerry Jones is her biological father, and reportedly dropped her lawsuit against Jerry Jones.

Jones has been the owner, president, and general manager of the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League since February 1989.

Nataly Keomoungkhoun of the Dallas Morning News reported Davis preferred genetic testing in an effort to legally verify that Jones is her father. However there was a previously scheduled hearing for her lawsuit on Thursday, but her attorneys asked a judge to dismiss it without prejudice on Wednesday.

In the lawsuit, Davis stated that she was conceived from a relationship Jones had with her mother in the 1990s. Davis stated that Jones reached a financial agreement with her mother that would allow him to support her if they didn’t make it publicly known that he was the father. However one of Jones’ lawyers said the lawsuit was an attempt at “monetary extortion.” One lawyer who helped Jones make the payments said an additional $20 million was demanded in the past. In the end, Davis’ lawyers denied that the lawsuit was an extortion attempt and had the lawsuit dropped.
