I decided to go to The Local Blend in St. Joseph, MN for the fourth coffee review. Local Blend is a favorite around town, and I wanted to try a new bakery item and of course get a drink.

At The Local Blend there are tables, along with booths, to sit at in the coffee shop. The space inside of the coffee shop is relatively small, but the space was well planned out, and there is a good amount of seating.

For my drink I decided to get an iced vanilla chai tea latte, which I have had from The Local Blend and is my favorite. For my bakery item, I tried something new and got a banana chocolate chip muffin.

The chai is my absolute favorite, and I would argue that The Local Blend has the best! There is a perfect chai to milk ratio, and the vanilla adds a little extra sweetness to the spicy chai. I knew the chai wouldn’t upset, but I went out on a limb and tried a new bakery item instead of getting my usual, blueberry muffin.

The banana chocolate chip muffin was amazing! There was a perfect amount of chocolate chips, the inside was moist, and the outside had a sugar coating that put everything all together. I would definitely go back just for the muffin.

The Local Blend is one of my favorite local coffee shops, and I would reccomend it to anyone who is looking for a good cup of coffee, chai, or a good bakery item.
