Sartell High School’s coffee shop, The Mill, serves a variety of food and beverages.

“The Mill” is Sartell’s coffee shop that is located on campus in the commons. The Mill serves coffee, tea, flavored lemonade, and many other drinks!

The Mill opened in the fall of 2019 and has continued to grow in popularity since then. During the 2019-2020 school year, The Mill was run by the business department at SHS, but the coffee shop had to be put on pause because of the COVID-19 outbreak. The returning school year The Mill still couldn’t open back up for business because of the pandemic until the end of the year. Mr. Vanek and the administrative assistant, Kristy Gosch, then took over The Mill this school year and have seen a large amount of success. The Mill is employed by SHS students who can work in the morning before school starts or during lunch.

Some options for drinks at The Mill are hot or iced lattes, mochas, cappuccino, macchiato, dirty chais, and americanos. Non-coffee options are chai lattes, infused energy, lemonade, tea, and hot chocolate.

The Mill also sells apparel in the coffee shop or you can order on their website for delivery. There is an array of options including hoodies, crewnecks, long-sleeved shirts, windbreakers, and youth clothing.

The Mill has seen astonishing numbers this year and continues to grow because of their new ideas and hard work!

Hoodies, crewnecks, flannels, and windbreakers are available for sale at The Mill. (Kira Workman)
