What teachers are going to be doing during spring break
Students aren’t the only ones looking forward to spring break, teachers are too! Some teachers are going on spring break trips during March 2022, where they needed a break from Sartell.
After asking the teachers “Spring break is around the corner, are you planning anything fun?!”
Rachel Smith
Smith said, “No, I’m not going anywhere nice and warm, but I might take Addie to the zoo.”
James Weide
Weide said, “I am going to work on my 1970 Mustang.”
I asked, “Do you know when you’ll be finished with that?”
Weide said, “Two years from now.”
Michele Nelson
Nelson said, “Yeah, we are going to Disney World”
I asked, “Are you going there for the 50th anniversary?”
Nelson said, “No, we were planning on going March of 2020, but that obviously didn’t work out, so we’re just keeping our promise to the kids now. I would actually rather it not be the 50th anniversary because it might be busier.”
Kristina Oscarson
Oscarson said, “I’m going to help my parents out, meet up with some friends, read, and enjoy nature.”
Terri Benson
Benson said, “I am planning to go with my family down to a very remote island in the Bahamas.”
I asked, “When are you leaving.”
Benson said, “I’m actually leaving tonight (Friday the 5th) and I’ll be back next weekend, so I’m going to have to miss a little school.”
I asked, “So you’re not going on our Spring break but Saint Cloud Spring break?”
“What are you going to be doing in the Bahamas?”
Benson said, “So we bring fishing and spears, and my husband spear lobsters and fish so we eat fresh seafood all week long and I’ll enjoy the sunshine, the pink sand beaches, and it’ll be great and I’ll read some books too.”
Caitlyn Heinen
Heinen said, “I am going to babysit my nephews, but I’m not going anywhere though.”
Roy Snyder
Snyder said, “We are going to Fort Myers Beach in Florida.”
I asked, “When are you planning on going?”
Snyder said, “We leave Friday before Spring break and we get back Sunday at the end of Spring break”
I asked, “What are you planning on doing there?”
Snyder said, “Sleep on the beach, fishing, walk on the beach, play in the water. Kids like to do boogie boarding and play in the sand.”
Lisa Wilson
Wilson said, “I’m going to South of France, like a road trip, hitting multiple cities.”
I asked, “How long will you be gone?”
Wilson said, “The whole Spring break.”
