Kira’s Coffee Corner: Copper Pony

Kira Workman

A cold morning in Sauk Rapids at Copper Pony coffee shop is a perfect time to drink coffee and go shopping!

Who doesn’t love a good cup of coffee? That first refreshing sip of iced coffee on a summer day or the steam of a latte on a cold winter day is like no other.

Kira’s coffee corner is a review of local coffee shops around the Sartell/St. Cloud/Sauk Rapids area.

For my second review I decided to stop by Copper Pony in Sauk Rapids! I have seen pictures of this coffee shop and knew I had to give it a try.

I absolutely loved the vibe that Copper Pony had in their store. The front of the store was the coffee shop and then the back of the store was a shop that sold mostly plants, but also had a lot of home decor. When I first stopped in, I looked around at the plants and the home decor items.

There was so much to look at, and this section of the store was so big. I think it would be nice if the coffee shop section of the store was bigger and the other part was slightly smaller. In all, I thought the store was super cute and had a lot to offer.

After looking around in the home decor section, I went to get some coffee and a food item. I decided to order an iced vanilla chai tea latte (not technically coffee but still good!) and a piece of cinnamon swirl banana bread.

The chai might have been one of the best I’ve ever had! I would recommend Copper Pony to any other fellow chai lovers. I was also very pleased with the cinnamon swirl banana bread; it tasted fresh and had great flavor. There was quite a bit of variety for food items, but I wish they had more drinks options. I loved all the decor in the coffee shop and had such a good experience. I will definitely be visiting again!!
