Minnesota high school dance teams are on their way to state this weekend. Jazz day is February 18th and kick day is February 19th. 

After a weird season last year, having their state competition at Edina High School, these athletes are expected to compete hard this weekend. They will be back at the Target Center competing on the wolf for the first time since the 2019-2020 dance season. 

There are three classes competing at the state tournament: A, AA, and AAA. This leaves 36 teams competing both days this weekend.

For the jazz competition on Friday, February 18th, there will be 36 teams competing, but only six teams from each class will advance to finals.
