The Sartell Dance Team competed at their final Central Lakes Conference meet of the 2021-2022 dance season. The meet took place at Sartell High School on Thursday, Jan 17, 2022, after the original competition date got canceled due to a snowstorm on January 14, 2022.

The first Central Lakes Conference meet was at Apollo High School on December 3, 2021. At this competition, Brainerd beat Sartell in both kick and jazz. At the final conference meet, Sartell ended the night in first place for varsity jazz and kick. This left Brainerd and Sartell tied for the Conference Championship title for the 2021-2022 season.

Maggie Fandel, Sartell dance team senior captain, said that her favorite part of the team’s final CLC of the season was “getting to dance in our home gym for the last time.”

She feels that the team’s second CLC was different because she  felt the team had a goal that they wanted to reach and that she knew that “we wanted it more than ever before.” Because of this, the team’s final CLC left more of an impact on her than the first CLC meet.
