Dylan Enriquez picked up his 100th win, at Cambridge High School, four weekends ago on January 22nd, during the Cambridge Invitational.

This has been a huge goal that he has been working at ever since he wrestled his first varsity match in eighth grade. Dylan has been wrestling ever since he was four years old. This has been a big part of his life, being it has been the only sport he has been in for most of his life.

Leading up to this big accomplishment, Dylan has had some major setbacks from achieving his goal. The summer leading up to sophomore year at the national tournament in Rochester he tore his ACL, MCL, and his meniscus. The recovery was long, and he did not get back to full strength until about 11 months later. Dylan had a very hard time watching others wrestle and not being able to be on the mat was the worst thing about it.

Dylan has been one of Sartell’s best wrestlers for his impressive five year varsity slate. He has made the State tournament once, has been named CLC Wrestler of the week twice, been named All Conference once, and hopes to end his successful wrestling career atop the podium at the State Tournament this year.
