Featured Freshman of the Week: Aubrey Flynn

This edition of Featured Freshman of the Week is focused on Aubrey Flynn! I interviewed Aubrey to find out some more about her and her experience as a freshman this year.

 

Q: Who has been most helpful in your transition from middle school to high school?

“Ms. Mersbergen was helpful in my transition from middle school to high school because she was supportive, a listener, understanding and helpful.”

 

Q: What is your favorite part about being a high schooler?

“My favorite part about being a high schooler is being apart of the volleyball team and getting to know new people.”

 

Q: What’s something you miss about middle school?

“The thing I miss most about middle school is hanging out in Mersbergen’s room everyday.”

 

Volleyball has gotten me comfortable at the high school and has made the year more fun.

Q: What are some of your hobbies?

“Some of my hobbies are playing volleyball, hanging out with friends and family, baking, repurposing things, and working out.”

 

Q: Who is your favorite singer/songwriter and why?

“My favorite singer is Luke Bryan because I like all of his songs and he is a good songwriter. “

 

Q: Who do you look up to most and why?

“I look up to Ms. Mersbergen the most because she is taller, very inspiring, supportive, fun, funny, a great mentor, and encouraging.”

 

Q: Who is your best friend?

“My best friends are Grace, Shayla, Kaia, Lydia, and Brenna because they are supportive, kind, funny, good listeners, and amazing. “
