Jorts/Groutfit
In this edition of “The slang of SHS,” I will be covering clothing styles here at SHS. Since the beginning of the universe, humankind has been looking for ways to advance the fashion industry. The students at Sartell High School have made earth-shattering breakthroughs in terms of fashion. Over the past few years, Sartell students have created trends worthy to be worn by Tyra Banks, Gigi Hadid, and Kendall Jenner. There are too many to name, but here are a few: Jorts and Groutfits.
SHS Defintion:
Jorts noun (joHr-tS)
1.(n) a pair of form-fitting jeans cut into shorts, worn anytime of the year
Ex:
1.”I love Kevin’s new jorts, he looks like a man I wouldn’t want to mess with.”
Groutfit noun (grOUT-fit)
1.(n) a head-to-toe gray outfit, for those who are seeking comfort
Ex:
1.”Hey Janice! Nice groutfit, you look comfy! Do you have to swim today?”

Go-to Article of Clothing: Turtleneck, Khakis (standard color for smart, casual dress trousers for civilians)
