Sartell baddies on a budget: part 2

Dupes are for the girls who like to LOOK expensive, without breaking their bank.
Sartell baddies on a budget: part 2

Merriam Webster defines dupe as a duplicate or copy, which is exactly what Sartell Students are looking for. With many high end products being incredibly expensive, dupes provide a way to save a lot of money.  Today, I’ll share with you my favorites that I use on an every day basis.

Aritzia Divinity Jump Suit VS Amazon Dupe

By far, the most compliments I’ve gotten on an outfit is this Aritzia jumpsuit dupe I got off of Amazon. It’s flattering, unique, yet equally trendy, and easy to style. However, the material is a little different than the buttery soft leggings that I’m used to, and feels more similar to a cotton T-Shirt. For me though, the $60 I saved felt worth it.

Two Faced Lip Injection VS Revolution

I fell in love with Two Face’s lip injection from the minute I received it in my Christmas stocking my freshman year. It’s gained a lot of attention in the media over the past years, gaining attention for the burning sensation and plump lips it offers. However, one tube of this gloss costs nearly $30, so as an avid lipgloss user, using this product daily was unrealistic for me. Thankfully, Target provides an alternative by Revolution, for only a fraction of the price. For me, the only difference in between the products was the applicators. While Two Faced provides a thin wand for precise application, Revolution has a thick, chubby one. However, the gloss itself showed me the same results, with the same satisfying burning feeling.

Two Faced Lip Injection: $29

Revolution Put Bomb: $5.60

Money Saved $23

Milk Power Grip Primer VS Elf Hydro Grip Prime

I am the Elf Hydro Grip Primer’s biggest fan. It makes my makeup go on so smoothly, and it stays much longer than any other primer I’ve tried. The formula and look of the product looks similar to Milk’s Power Grip, but stays $28 cheaper!

The purpose of a primer is to provide an easy base to build the rest of your makeup off of. (both fair use photos from E.L.F. cosmetics and MILK)

Milk Power Grip Primer: $38

Elf Hydro Grip Primer:

$10

Money Saved $28
