Sno Barons held their 56th annual Hay Days on September 9 & 10 in North Branch, Minnesota. There are events to watch, including snow drags and more, along with great food and many sites to see.
Hay Days is the place to be on the 2nd weekend in September. To all of us snowmobile people, it is the official start to winter, even though snow doesn’t come til maybe October. There is 3 swap meets for people to walk through and buy old materials for your snowmobile and even find some gear that you need for riding.
They had many more new features and had moved some events to different spots so they could have more room to show off their products. Arctic Cat was moved to the back by the drag races along with Ski-doo and Polaris. They had more space to put out their product and show off their new 2024 snowmobiles.
Everyone loves to come up Friday, even though the grounds don’t open until Saturday at 7 am, but that’s because their are campgrounds across from the grounds. People who own the property allow thousands of people to camp on their ground for the weekend. everyone has such a great time by having bonfires, talking, and showing off their cool products they found at the swap meets. Many people also bring their own items from home and sell them in the parking lot. Also, the people who live in North Branch know to put their items out in their yards for the people coming to Hay Days to see.
