Avid readers should check out Books Revisited in downtown St. Cloud for their amazing selection of books on a budget.

Books revisited is an independent book store that sells both new and used books for low prices. The charming store was established in 1991 and had a second location in the Crossroads Mall in the early 2000s, that has since been closed. They specialize in rare books, first editions, and signed books. One of the rarest books they’ve had is a signed copy of White Fang by Jack London that they recently sold to a collector. Jon Lee, one of the owners of the business has been the owner since 1995 and enjoys owning a bookstore.

Lee shared,  “I enjoy the books and I also enjoy the people I meet…as I find unique books, and I meet unique people, a lot of times we can match them up.”

Books Revisited has hundreds of books in every genre from classic literature to science fiction. These books are practically stacked to the ceiling and fill up every nook and cranny. You can sell your books to the store along with magazines, cds, and old records. Books Revisited also ships books to customers and book collectors all over the world. Don’t be scared of the creaky floors and old book smell, there is something for everyone here.

Lee also said, “When you’re in here the books sort of find you.”

Sartell junior, Josephine Gilbert, works at Books Revisited. She’s worked there for eight months and loves working in a bookstore. Josephine shelves books, catalogues them, and puts on mylar covers.

Her favorite part of her job is packaging the books to be shipped out to customers:  “We have plenty of books…and we’re friendly people.”

This small book store is packed with character and has so many options for all different kinds of readers. If you’re looking for a good read, stop into Books Revisited and see what kind of surprises you can find.

If you like books at all, you have to check us out.
