Gary entered the MoMA and hoped over the reception desk stabbing the two employees.

A man, accused of stabbing two employees of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York on Saturday, was arrested.

60-year-old Gary Cabana was arrested and information on his charges will be released later. Both employees that were stabbed were 24 years old, one woman and one man. The woman suffered two stab wounds to the lower back and one to the back of her neck. The man was only stabbed once in the left collarbone. Both were immediately rushed to the nearest hospital and are expected to survive.

Police say that Cabana was a regular visitor at MoMA. Cabana was known to the NYPD and was wanted for two previous incidents prior to the stabbing.

Cabana entered MoMA with the intention of watching a film. Police also stated that upon being denied entrance Cabana became angry and jumped over the reception desk and attacked the two employees. The patrons that were inside MoMA were evacuated almost immediately. MoMA closed the rest of the weekend and was said to open again on March 15th.
