Tom Brady’s NFL legacy is not over.

The 44 year old announced via twitter Sunday afternoon that he will return for his 23rd season in Tampa Bay.

His tweet read, “These past two months I’ve realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands. That time will come. But it’s not now. I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. They make it all possible. I’m coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa. Unfinished business LFG.”

The Buccaneers’ Super Bowl run fell short last year in a 30-27 loss in the divisional round to the later Super bowl champs, the Los Angeles Rams.

Earlier on Sunday morning, the betting odds for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were +2250, after Tom announced that he came back the odds went down to +750. This decision puts the Bucs back right in as Super Bowl contenders and puts them right where they want to be heading into the 2023 season.

This news has made people on the internet go crazy and for good reason.
