Country concerts are some of the greatest things a person could experience. Whether it be the energetic atmosphere, the powerful storytelling lyrics, or just simply the communities of fans. Country concerts bring people of all ages and backgrounds together creating a wild yet passionate group of individuals.

Of the few concerts I have been to, my first being Chris Stapleton, it unlocked an entire new genre of amazing music. During the early days of April in 2024, I attended my first ever concert at the US Bank Stadium the “All-American Road Show” tour with my best friends. The opener was the amazing Lainey Wilson who played along side Chris Stapleton. This concert was last minute and tickets were not at all on the pricey side. Even being so far up in the stadium, his and her voices carried through the entire crowd. As a group, we took a van down to Minneapolis and stopped at Punch Pizza just before heading into the stadium ready for a night of music. Every song sounded exactly like it was coming from the album, if not even better. Lainey is an amazing pre-former and her music is so empowering. Chris Stapleton voice was breath-taking he put on such a relaxing yet beautiful show.

That following summer I attended the Zach Bryan “The Quittin Time Tour.” I bought these tickets a year in advanced because at the time Zach Bryan tickets were almost impossible to get due to his popularity. I was thankfully able to snag tickets and go along with friends to Zach Bryan concert that August in 2024. This concert was an entirely different experience, the crowd was wild. We were in the pit! Because the concert was so overly packed, Zach Bryan had two openers. The first being the Turnpike Troubadours and the second the SunDown47 which I was both unfamiliar with, but they made the experience and atmosphere even better! Their shows were both fun and and entertaining, and I even listen to their music now. When it was finally time for Zach Bryan to come out he made an astonishing entrance, the lights turned out and a blue electric color filled the room. He walked out with his guitar already singing.

As soon as Zach Bryan made his presence, the crowd went wild. I had been waiting for this concert for over a year and finally I saw him up close as he sang my favorite songs. The crowd in the pit was all so lively and singing along with their hands in the air. Nothing could ever top this energy. As the concert went on, it felt like I had been there for such a short amount of time. My feet shaped into my boots painfully but the concert and the hours I danced with my friends made up for it. I will absolutely never forget about the time and memories I had during this concert.

The most recent concert I went to was Zach Top! It was a gift, the best gift I could gotten for my eighteenth birthday. Me, my mom, and Drew, my boyfriend, all drove together to Rapid City, South Dakota. The drive took nine hours, but it was all worth it to see my favorite artist. We made the best out of the cold November weather and got a hotel close to the venue. This concert was nothing like the rest. It felt like me and Drew were the youngest people there! The crowd was filled with real cowboys, I felt overdressed in a dress. The people there is what made the concert a blast, watching couples honky tonk dance the entire time was so cool. The entire crowd was chill yet the atmosphere was rowdy and up-beat. Every person there knew the words to every song. Zach Top opened with Jake Worthington who was a hoot. His music and presence was hilarious. Jake later came out with Zach Top, and they sang some of his famously known songs from Zach Top’s newest album. This concert was by far my favorite, he put on such a great show with such talented people. At the end, he left and so did most people, me and Drew decided to stay just in case and just like that he came back out and sang some of his popular old songs. I enjoyed every second of it and wish to see him again.
I hope every single person, one day, can attend a country concert whether it be an outside live event with a small artist, or a huge artist inside a massive venue.
