The fame of the popular Dirty Soda came from Utah! Dirty Sodas were founded in 2010 when the first Swig and Sodalicious createdthe idea of a soft drink mixed with creams and fun flavors! The trend exploded globally in 2021 when people began showing off their at home representations on social media. Dirty Soda’s are customizable flavor-filled drinks.
Through this craze many small local shops have popped up in Minnesota. Sota came first in Maple Grove. They have multiple soda’s to add flavors into like Dr.Pepper, Coke, Sprite, Orange Fanta, Lemonade, and Root beer. On top of adding in fruity flavorings they also have fun puree flavors!
Just recently Schmidtys Soda shop which is in two different locations, Alexandria and recently St. Cloud. Many popular locations around around the world have brought dirty sodas to their own menu’s! Mcdonalds just recently added a selection of their own dirty soda’s to their menu. Taco Bell has also added a selection of dirty soda’s to their menu! Dunkin released some dirty soda’s as well! All over the social media there are many re creations and creations of these various shops and restaurants!
