One habit to better your life

A cold plunge set in nature, waiting for your arrival.

Do you want to take the next step to become the best version of yourself?

I challenge you to take a cold shower every day for the next three weeks and experience the benefits yourself.

Cold therapy is the act of immersing yourself in cold water. The number one physical benefit is the boosting of your immune system. The shock of cold water can stimulate blood cell circulation to fight infections.

Another physical benefit is the increase in metabolism. Your body expends energy trying to stay warm so submersing yourself in cold showers can lead to a small amount of caloric expenditure and increased metabolism.

The last physical benefit worth mentioning is the reduction of inflammation in the body as well as muscle soreness. Cold water causes blood vessels to constrict, which reduces blood flow to muscles. This can help decrease inflation by limiting the release of pro-inflammatory molecules.

Cold showers also lead to increased circulation. Improved circulation can help remove metabolic waste products from the muscles, potentially reducing inflammation and soreness.

Taking the next step is a no-brainer, all you have to do is start at the end of your showers adding 30 seconds of cold water and slowly increasing the increments. The habit will strengthen, and it will become a part of your daily routine.

What cold shower benefit stands out to you?
