Michigan football has been under investigation for a sign stealing scandal that is reportedly led by Michigan’s head football coach, Jim Harbaugh.
Jim has been the head coach of Michigan football since 2015. His record has been quite good over those years as it has been 81-25. Harbaugh has also been the head coach of the Stanford trees and the San Francisco 49ers.
Harbaugh has been very highly praised for his outcomes on the field, but some are now questioning why his outcomes have been so good. This year there has been some breaking news in the college football atmosphere.
Multiple reports have been made to the NCAA against the Wolverines. Two teams Michigan faced voiced their concerns about the potential scandal, but it wasn’t until a former employee of a Big 10 rival linked multiple teams to the scandal. Michigan would pay for people to go scout other teams illegally and have them note their play calling signals.
Some teams right now are trying to get creative to avoid from other teams from stealing their signs. Rutgers is going as far as having four coaches signaling the play calls with them each calling something different. So far they have been able to date this scandal as far back as three years. With the investigation still going on there will be more to find out.
As of right now Coach Harbaugh has been suspended from coaching on the sideline until the college football playoffs.
