Minnesota Vikings fans grimace after Kirk Cousins was carted off the field on Sunday afternoon.

The Minnesota Vikings are 3-4 heading into Green bay for a matchup against division rivals, Green bay Packers. The Vikings were heating up as they had won the previous two games. Their upcoming schedule looked very promising as the next five games were against bottom 15 teams.

The Vikings were heating up at the right time, everything was starting to go our way until Kirk Cousins had fallen to the ground in pain, in the fourth quarter. Right away Vikings fans knew something was wrong, a video later released had Vikings fan praying. The video shows a pop in Kirk Cousins calf, indicating an achilles injury which would definitely put him out for the rest of the season.

Sunday night is was released that Kirk Cousins had torn his achilles and will be out for the remainder of the season. Vikings fans panicked as the playoffs are now going to be hard in to get into. Backup and rookie quarterback Jaren Hall will be starting week 9 against the Atlanta Falcons, and newly signed quarterback Josh Dobbs will take the quarterback role after week 9 if Jaren Hall cant prove himself.
