The Dobbs effect is proven wrong as he is now sitting on the bench

The Dobbs effect is indeed not real. Nick Mullens is the week 14 starter.

Vikings fans were a firm believer in Joshua Dobbs after his first start as a Viking, but now they’re questioning their initial thoughts.

He played great, putting up marvelous stats and showing the fans that the season still has hope. His third week as a Minnesota Viking wasn’t the most impressive but fans still believed in the Dobbs effect. Week 14 added onto what was already a bad reputation, only throwing for 185 yards, one touchdown, and four interceptions.

Vikings fans were starting to question whether he should continue to be the starter or move onto a new quarterback. Week 15, Dobbs started in what was a very historical game for Vikings fans but not in a good way. Dobbs was taken out of the game after throwing for only 63 yards. Both teams were at a stalemate scoring no points in the first half. Later in the second half, Nick Mullens had come in to take over the quarterback position as Dobbs still hadn’t lead the vikings to a scoring drive.

Later in the fourth quarter, Nick Mullens had lead the Vikings down the field so Greg Joseph could kick a field goal to go up 3-0. The Vikings would win the game 3-0.

Nick Mullens has replaced Dobbs as the week 14 starter against the Cincinnati Bengals.

We can now confirm, THE DOBBS EFFECT IS NOT REAL.
