SpaceX and NASA cancel rocket launch to International Space Station with just under 3 minutes before takeoff.

SpaceX and NASA just recently called off the launch to the International Space Station on February 27th, 2023 at 1:45 am. There were four astronauts on the spacecraft hours before the launch, and they will be staying on-site at Kennedy Space Center until their next launch attempt.

They called off the launch because of an issue detected in the rocket’s ground system. The TEA-TEB ignition fluids were noted as the core of the issue in the system.

There have been new arrangements for the next launch. It is said to be held on Thursday, March 2nd at 12:34 am EST.

The Crew-6 team that will be in the launch on the SpaceX capsule includes astronauts from NASA: Stephen Bowen, first-time flier Warren Hoburg, Sultan Alneyadi who will be the second astronaut from UAE to go to space, and lastly Russian cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev. They are expected to be in space for approximately six months conducting science experiments and keeping the two-decade-old station in order.
