SHS student Carter Bakken made an unlikely friend in the midst of rescuing a raccoon.

Carter and his family was brought to the attention of the furry friend when Carter’s step aunt first found him on the side of the road. The Bakken family welcomed the raccoon with open arms and haven’t looked back ever since. They have now named the raccoon Coonberry and feed him his favorite food (marshmallows).
