Teachers of Sartell: Mr. Marty Anderson

Aili

During various weeks of the school year, the LeSabre highlights standout teachers of the Sartell-St. Stephen school district.

Math teacher Marty Anderson is the new teacher of the week at Sartell. Check out what he does outside of the classroom!

Taking a look into the math world, Mr. Anderson was asked about his personal life and what he does outside of his mathematical career. Mr. Anderson is a laid-back teacher who loves spending time in and outside of the classroom.

Mr. Anderson is not your average math teacher. He is also the coach for the Storm’n Sabres hockey team. In addition, he enjoys playing golf in his free time on a nice, sunny, warm day with his family who he loves spending time with.

An inspirational quote that Anderson lives by is

Gustavus Adolphus is the college Mr. Anderson received his education from. When asked what what he would do if he decided not to pursue teaching, he says he would own a resort.

If Mr. Anderson were to be a fictional character, he says he would be Batman. But honestly, isn’t he already? High school math teacher by day, hockey coach making slap shots, hat tricks, and cellys by night.

Lastly, when Mr. Anderson was asked who his celebrity crush was, his response was,“T. Swift. Duh.”

Mr. Anderson is a young soul who will forever feel “22” and leave a fantastic legacy not only in Sartell High School but on the ice as well.
