Robbie Coltrane aka Hagrid from Harry Potter has died

Robbie Coltrane who acted as Hagrid in Harry Potter dies at the age of 72.

Robbie Coltrane is a Scottish actor who has been in many movies.

He has been in the James Bond movie The World is Not Enough, Golden Eye, and Van Helsing. But the movie that brought him the most fame was the Harry Potter series.  Harry Potter is a film based on the novel by J.K Rowling. 

The first book of Harry Potter was published in 1997 and was a massive success worldwide.

Since the book was a big success, the movie series also became a big success worldwide. 

The character that Robbie Coltrane acted as was named Hagrid. Hagrid was a character that was a big helper of the main characters solve problems throughout the movie. Hagrid was a character that most of the students in the Harry Potter movie loved. Also, he was loved by many Harry Potter movie fans around the world.

Cast members of Harry Potter remember Robbie Coltrane as a very generous and kind person just like Hagrid.

Daniel Radcliffe who acted as Harry Potter at the film commented that “Robbie was one of the funniest people I’ve ever met and used to keep us laughing constantly.”

Also Rupert Grint who acted as Ron Weasley on the film commented, “Just as Hagrid was in the books and films Robbie was in life- warm,compassionate,and hilarious.”
