Siblings of Sartell: Bella & Abby Aizcorbe

For this edition of Siblings of Sartell, I spoke with Bella Aizcorbe (senior), and Abby Aizcorbe (sophomore) to get a glimpse into their sisterhood.

Q. What is something that you have in common?

Bella: “We borrow each other’s clothes and both care about fashion.”

Abby: “Nothing.”


Q. Describe your sibling in 3 words

Bella: “Annoying probably, funny, and kind.”

Abby: “Pretty, fashionable, rude.”


Q. What is something your sibling does that drives you insane?

Bella: “She takes my clothes.”

Abby: “When she talks.”


Q. What is something about your sibling that has changed with age?

Bella: “We get along better now that we’re older.”

Abby: “We abuse each other less physically and more verbally.”

 

Q. Have you ever been compared to each other?

Bella: “People say we look alike.”

Abby: “Yes.”

 

Q. Which of you is the favorite child?

Bella: “Me.  For real me.”

Abby: “Me.”

 

Q. Do you have nicknames for each other?

Bella: “Mean.”

Abby: “Ugly.”

 

Q. Finish this sentence: “My sibling is…”

Bella: “Abby”

Abby: “Bella”

(interesting perspectives, huh?)

 

Q. What is a personality trait of theirs that you wish you had?

Bella: “She’s outgoing and personable.”

Abby: *looks at Bella “What do you have that I don’t?”

 

Q. What is your favorite thing to do together?

Bella: “Get coffee and food together.”

Abby: “Shop.”

 

Q. If you fight, what is it about?

Bella: “Clothes.”

Abby: “Clothes.”

(I didn’t find this answer surprising!)

 

Q. What is your favorite thing/quality about your sibling?

Bella: “She’s funny.”

Abby: “She’s my chauffeur.”

 

Q. Would you break your sibling out of jail?

Bella: “Yes.”

Abby: “No, because if she’s in there she should be learning a lesson.”

(fair enough)

 

Q. What is your best memory with your sibling?

Bella: “Going to swim meets with each other.”

Abby: “Vacations.”
