Junior Kylie Hedtke takes on the Tribe 99 Combine in Dallas Texas! This combine started on Friday and lasted all day through the night till Sunday. On Friday, Kylie started the day off with Jazz taught by Ashley Gonzalas, she taught the dancers a combo that they would later show to college dance team coaches from all over.

Kylie also learned a hip hop combo with Randi and Hef where they would also preform for coaches Sunday. Saturday the day started with a pom master combo class with Faymie Link and then the dancers had an improv battle for round one. Kylie made it in the top 20!

Once she made it to top 20 she preformed infront of the college coaches. After, all dancers reviewed each of the combos for Sunday. The dancers also got an orientation with the 5 dance wear owner. We watched the college program introduction which consist of college dancers from all over preforming the combos.

Saturday also consisted of the 4 by 8’s which is the college coach’s first introduction to all of us dancers. After this, there was a small break and a technique showcase which was filled with turns and leaps. Then after that there was coach connections which lasted an hour. Dancers could go to coaches and meet them at there pop up booths and ask questions.

Sunday was a challenging day. Kylie and the dancers got there and they told her and group B they would be preforming jazz first. They got to the gym and did jazz four times in front of coaches and also filmed it for the combine score they received. They followed up and did this for each of the combos they learned. After this they watched MVP solos and finished the improv competition. After we had an hour and half for coach connections.
