After months of anticipation, Minnesota’s very own Valleyfair opened its doors for the 2026 season. Valleyfair is Minnesota’s largest amusement park, and it creates lots of fun for families! With the 2026 season comes a huge anniversary. Valleyfair is celebrating its 50th anniversary!

This year’s reopening comes with many new attractions, including an expansion of its very own waterpark. Recently renamed, Superior Shores Waterpark has 13 new waterslides, bringing the total to 24 waterslides and loads of fun!

The park officially opened on May 10th and had a special preview day for pass holders the day before. The waterpark is scheduled to open later in May. With the new waterpark comes a new ownership. Valleyfair is now proudly under new management by Enchanted Parks, a collection of amusement parks, water parks, and resort destinations.
