Stefan Buiceag-Arama is a senior at SHS this year and has lived in Sartell his whole life. Stefan has 3 siblings, Nick, Ingrid, and Evelyn. His parents are named Nicolae and Carmen. He has 2 dogs, Rosie and Junie, and 2 cats, Mickey and Bobby. Stefan’s family enjoys going out to eat at restaurants and traveling. His favorite places they have gone to are Europe and South America.
Stefan is involved in DECA and used to play hockey. Stefan has been a member of DECA for the past 3 years. He joined because he wanted to do an activity that engaged his professional aspirations.
He thinks DECA will benefit him in the future because he is learning skills he can apply to his job, and he can use it on his resume for future jobs. Stefan’s favorite DECA memory is “Chilling at DECA State with the boys.”
I asked Stefan, “Why do you think people should join DECA?”
He said, “To miss school and to use it as an extracurricular activity for college.”
Future Plans:
Stefan is planning on working in buy-side finance in private equity. He is undecided on which school he is going to attend for college because he is still waiting to hear back. He is most nervous about potentially falling behind on classwork.
Stefan is excited for all of the new people he will meet in college and all of the professional opportunities. He is going to miss getting woken up by his mom with coffee and water in the morning.
