Tyler the Creator’s ‘Chromakopia’ tour started in February and is ending this September.

When Tyler came onto the stage the crowd was loudest. Tyler brought his energy to St.Paul, and he didn’t disappoint. Before Tyler entered the stage the lights dimmed, and the first song played was “St.Chroma.” “St.Chroma” was the first song released from the album. It was almost a teaser of the Chromakopia album. So it was genius on Tyler’s part to start the concert with it.

The use of the stages and props did not disappoint either. He had an assortment of lighting and storytelling throughout the performance which made it even more memorable. Getting to hear some of my favorite songs was peak, and I wouldn’t take it back. My favorite song he performed was “She.” This has been one of my favorite songs since 7th grade, and getting the opportunity to hear it live was surreal.
