
Are you bored of going to the gym, going for your everyday run, or maybe not exercising at all? Yoga might be a new exercise to introduce into your life. We’re going to do a deep dive in the world of mat pilates!
There are lots of places locally that you can find guided yoga classes. However, I prefer to do my classes through Crave Studio in Waite Park, Minnesota. Crave has a variety of different classes you can take. These can vary from extremely intense, 60 minute classes, to more moderate 45 minute class. The specific class we will be looking into is mat pilates.
Mat pilates is a 45 minute, heated class that is a fusion of various pilates technique, and strength moves. This class is definitely going to test you in ways you may have never been tested before. I am used to taking more strength and cardio based class, and this class defiantly had me sweating. It is going to incorporate a lot of balance work, and pulsing, which adds an extra challenge to your work out.
Although this class in challenging, I would one hundred percent recommend giving it a try! Not only will you gain strength, and flexibility, you will leave with a sense of completion.
