Sugar Rush Minnesota is based in Forest Lake MN. They are a women-owned store that was established in 2023.

They sell all the candy everyone has been dying to try. They don’t sell just the trending Swedish candy but many different kinds of freeze-dried candy, Dubai chocolate, cake cops & confections.

I first saw Swedish candy on my for you page on the app TikTok, and it continued to keep showing up. The trend caught on to many users on the app and people would post taste tests, hauls, and reviews.

The flavors my sister Everleigh and I tried were Tutti Frutti, Bubblegum, Strawberry Pomegranate, Pink Raspberry, and Foamy Pear.

Tutti Frutti:

I was not sure what to expect when I heard it was “tutti frutti” flavored. But I ended up really enjoying it. It was decently sour, and I tend to steer away from that type of candy but it ended up being one of my favorite ones.

Bubblegum:

This bubblegum skull was another sour candy that tasted just like bubblegum. Even though it is 2 colors both sides tasted the same.

Strawberry Pomegranate:

This one by far was my favorite. It was not as chewy and thick as all the sour ones which I liked. I did not know what strawberry pomegranate would taste like but I definitely liked it more than I was expecting.

Pink Raspberry:

This one was one of the more plain skulls I tried. It did not taste much like raspberry but more like bubblegum combined with the actual flavor. I gave a lower score just because I expected it to not be as bland.

Foamy Pear: 

This one was my least favorite out of all the bubs that I tried. It was much smaller in size compared to the strawberry pomegranate bubs. This one was much more sour than the rest and tasted more like soap than pear.

It was fun to try something different that was originally made outside the United States. Swedish candy is made differently than anything we have in America. It has a unique thick chewy texture. For the price of 20 dollars, I would say it is on the price side. It is not an everyday candy for me but is a fun splurge once in awhile. I enjoyed almost all the flavors I received, and I would fully recommend trying for the experience.
