This Sartell Alumni Sienna Albjerg loves college and is very happy with her decision and cannot wait for what her future holds.
Sienna Albjerg is a 2023-2024 Sartell High School graduate who has just started her freshman year at the University of South Dakota.
Q- Where did you end up going?
A- “I ended up going to the University of South Dakota.”
Q- Were you set on going anywhere other than where you decided on?
A- “USD was the only school I wanted to go to.”
Q- What are you majoring in?
A- “Kinesiology and sports management with applied exercise science with a minor in psychology.”
Q- Are you happy with your decision?
A- “I am extremely happy with my decision.”
Q- Have you made any new friends in college?
A- “I have made lots of friends here at USD.”
Q- What is your favorite class so far in college?
A- “My favorite class so far is my Intro to Kinesiology and Sports Management class.”
Q- Do you ever feel homesick in college?
A- “No. I have not felt homesick since the 3rd week.”
Q- What do you miss about the city of Sartell?
A- “I miss my family.”
Q- Do you miss anyone who still goes to school at Sartell?
A- “I miss my best friend Brinkley Zabel and a few of my former teammates like Marni Koosmann, Mara Segura, McKenna Searcy, and Tess Hovda.”
Q- Do you keep in touch with anyone who just graduated along with you from Sartell?
A- “Yes. I have kept in contact with Mady Dockendorf and Megann Jobin.”
Q- Did you play any sports in High School?
A- “Yes. I was on the swim team along with trap.”
Q- Who were your favorite teachers you had in high school?
A- “My favorite teachers were Roy Snyder, Marty Anderson, and Brad Scherer.”
Q- What was your favorite class in high school?
A- “My favorite class was Abnormal Psychology with Brad Scherer.”
