The Sartell Sabre Dance Team has started their season off with a bang! The team has attended two conference meets and two invitationals.

The team hosted the first CLC Conference on November 22nd, taking home 2nd place in both Varsity High Kick and Varsity Jazz. The B-squad and JV Jazz team also competed, with B-squad taking 3rd and JV Jazz taking 1st!

Next, the Sabres set their alarms and loaded the bus at 5:45am to head to one of the biggest invitationals of the year at Chanhassen High School on December 7th. The Varsity team took 3rd in High Kick and 5th in Jazz. The JV team took 3rd in both, and the B-squad Jazz team took 5th.

After the big weekend of competition, a huge weekend of competing was ahead! On December 13th, the team attended the CLC Conference Champs at Rocori High School. The Varsity team took 2nd in both High Kick and Jazz, and the JV High Kick team took 1st! Some members of the team were also awarded All-Conference at the competition.

Lastly, the Sabres attended the Eastview Invitational on December 14th. The team braved the slippery roads and had their season best performances! The Varsity team took 2nd in both Kick and Jazz, averaging a 85.8 in High Kick and a 83.2 in Jazz! The JV and B-squad teams also took 2nd in both High Kick and Jazz.
