Most high schoolers earn an income by working at local businesses, but Sartell High School student Lucy Conda started her own business.
Lucy saw the need for a change in the jewelry industry and created a cost-effective brand, allowing everyone to access her jewelry.
Lucy started her small business about two years ago. She sells her earrings in person, at craft fairs, on her Etsy shop, and through her Instagram profile.
Conda’s shop sells many different earrings and has something for everyone. The most popular type of earrings are studs, which Conda says are hypoallergenic. All earrings are made with hypoallergenic bases, maximizing the inclusiveness opportunity.
