People who feel like home

These are some of my friends I’ve got closer to over the past year.

There’s a saying that home isn’t the place, but it’s the people. I believe that the saying is true. Friends are like another family. They take you on a whirlwind of adventures and make life so exciting. I believe that finding good friends is hard, but when you do, it’s the most free feeling in the entire world. There’s a different emotion when you’re with the friends that you love. I wanted to share with people who make me feel like I’m home.

After junior year, I was introduced to my now friend group from Sartell. They have been so open and welcoming to me. They have been there for me over and over again, they have supported my decisions and have given me some of the most real advice some friends can give you. I appreciate them all so much, and they are some of my favorite people I have surrounded myself with.

These are just some moments that my friends and I have enjoyed going through together.

My beautiful friend group from three different schools is next. There is Roccori, Holdingford, and Sartell. These girls make me feel like life is full of energy and fun. We always have the most random ideas when we’re together, and there is nothing we don’t know about each other. They are some of the sweetest girls I’ve met, and I’m so glad I have them in my life they always make me feel so loved. There is a feeling when all the girls are together that you just can’t put a finger on, but it’s my favorite feeling. These girls are some of my favorite people on the entire planet.

These girls are some of the most spectacular people on this planet, and I wouldn’t trade them for the world.

The next group of girls has been there since seventh grade. We all met through mutual friends and started hanging out all summer. They have been my rock since high school started and nothing ever changes between us even if we don’t hang out for long periods. Everything bounces back to the same way it was before, and that’s the best thing about these girls. They are always down for adventures whether it’s going on a drive, getting food, or just hanging out in the basement. They keep my life entertaining with everything going on and it never gets old hanging out with them.
