St. Chroma 

The first song on the album, was exciting.  With the lyrics being whispered for half the song, you feel a sense of leading up into something then the beat switches for Tyler to show off his brand new style. 6/10

Rah Tah Tah

Being the second song on the album, and of course, knowing Tyler, the second song is primarily working with grime and funk, I enjoyed this one and am excited to see the rest. 7/10

Noid

Being the single released before the album, this specific track shows how much effort went into this album. With a psychedelic rock beat mixed with Tyler’s infamous nature and voice, this track really hits home with the older listeners. 8/10

Darling, I (Ft. Teezo Touchdown)

This track captures the culmination of Tyler’s career, reminding us of his previous albums. With the first feature artist of the record, I give this song an 8/10

Hey Jane

A quality track, the lyrics are on point, and the beat matches perfectly.  This song captures a feeling of nostalgia unlike the rest, and I will be adding this to my playlist. 9/10

I Killed You 

Interesting choice for the sound at the beginning, not like anything I’ve heard before. I can tell that Tyler has been experimenting more and making a difference in the Hip-hop world as well as the community. 6/10

Decent, felt either as a long interlude or a night drive was impressed toward the ending.  Not my favorite 4/10

Sticky (Ft. GloRilla, Lil Wayne & Sexyy Red)

 Ok, boring. Not a song I’d listen to in my free time, yet somewhat impressed by the ending 3/10

Enjoyed this one,  well sounded not too repetitive, and was worth the listen. 6/10

Tomorrow 

Another nostalgic-sounding track,  yet this track wasn’t nostalgic to Tyler’s previous sound of albums. I enjoyed this one, and is also worth the listen. I’ll be adding this one to my playlist. 7/10

Thought I Was Dead (Ft. Santigold & ScHoolboy Q) 

Good track, features were on point yet felt repetitive. 5/10

Wasn’t very impressed by this track. 4/10

Balloon (Ft. Doechii) 

I was excited about this one and heard good things on social media. Now that I’ve heard it, I’ll say that it wasn’t what I expected. The feature was decent and respectable but honestly again not very impressed. 6/10

I Hope You Find Your Way Home

Good conclusion, made up for the last few.  Great production. 7/10

With the record concluding, I must say this has been a surprise to me. I very much enjoyed this album and would recommend it to others. I must say I have mixed feelings about the album as a whole. I wouldn’t say it’s his best work but is very well made with experimental sounds. Production was good, with lyrics to match but felt like something was missing either way.

As a whole I give “CHROMAKOPIA” a 7/10
