This week’s featured Satell alumni and student is Kaelin Coffin!

Kaelin has lived in the Sartell/ St. Stephan area her whole life and graduated from Sartell High School last year as a 2024 graduate. Kaelin just began her first year at college this fall!

Are you happy with your decision?

“Yes, I think going away from home was hard at first but it helps you mature and grow as a person.”

Do you keep in touch with anyone from your hometown?

“Yes, some friends and family.”

Who was your favorite teacher in high school and why?

“My favorite teachers in high school were Mr. Sinkel or Mr. Henning because they truly cared about their students in school, outside of school, and were overall good at teaching.”

Who was the most influential person from your high school career?

“I would say Mr. Henning because he has always been willing to help coach me in sports, and has been a life coach.”

What is your favorite thing at college?

“I like having the freedom to take classes that will truly help you learn the information that you will need.”

What is your favorite college class?

“My favorite college class so far is psychology, because it studies a very important part of the body and why people act the way they do. After being in psychology, I have thought about minoring in it!”
