Concerts are a great way for students at Sartell High School to interact with some of their favorite artists and hear them live.
•Morgan Wallen•
Sophia Dulski has been to the Backseat Lovers and Morgan Wallen concert. Sophia’s favorite concert was the Morgan Wallen concert this past summer at the US Bank stadium. Sophia went to Morgan Wallen with Chloe Eibensteiner, one of her best friends. She had a lot of fun, and it was the first time she had been to that big of a concert. She also loved being able to sing along to all of the lyrics. For the first time in Minnesota, Morgan Wallen played “I Had Some Help” the new song he made with Post Malone. Sophia’s favorite song that Morgan Wallen played was “Lies Lies Lies” because it is one of her favorite songs by him, and it sounded great live.
•A Boogie Wit da Hoodie•
Montey Sanborn has been to A Boogie Wit da Hoodie and The Kid Laroi, but his favorite was the A Boogie Wit da Hoodie concert. Montey went to the concert with his friends Brayden, George, Cooper, and Josh. They all really enjoyed the concert because everyone there was singing along, which made it even louder and more fun. It was crazy in the crowd, and they even were standing at the front of the pit by the stage. Montey’s favorite song that he played was “Drowning.”
•Taylor Swift•
Lexi Mentzer has been to A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, Suicideboys, Zach Bryan twice, and Taylor Swift. Lexi’s favorite concert was Taylor Swift’s at the US Bank Stadium. Lexi went to the concert with her friends Sawyer, Sophie, Hazel, and Lily. They all had so much fun together singing along, and they were all given wristbands that lit up different colors depending on the songs she played. Taylor Swift’s surprise song was “Dear John,” which she hadn’t played since the Speak Now Tour in 2011-12. “Dear John” was also Lexi’s favorite song that she played because she loved the song and the stadium got so loud and excited.
•Luke Combs•
Fallyn Budde has been to Zach Bryan, The Beach Boys, and Luke Combs, her personal favorite. Fallyn went to the concert with her friend Gavin, his brother, his mom, her mom, and her brother. Fallyn stated that, “It was the best concert I’ve ever been to!” The concert was in Milwaukee, and Fallyn and prom were the next day, so she got back home at 5 a.m. and got up and ready at 10 a.m. Luke Combs played a surprise song, “Remember Him That Way”, but Fallyn’s favorite song that played was, “Where the Wild Things Are.”
•The Beach Boys•
Ruby Gallipo and her friends Fallyn, Claire, Lexi E., Lexi K., and Paisley went to the Beach Boys concert at The Ledge. Ruby had a good time and enjoyed being outdoors with all the food trucks, there too. Ruby had so much fun with everyone, and they were celebrating her birthday the same day. All the girls bought the same sweatshirt to match the concert. The best part of the night was when John Stamos played, “Forever Young,” which sounded really good and very similar live. Ruby’s favorite song that was played that night was, “Kokomo.”
•The Kid LAROI•
Brayden Simones has been to A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, Evan Honer, Wyatt Flores, Zach Bryan, and The Kid LAROI twice, his personal favorite. Brayden went to the concert with George and Montey, two of his close friends. Brayden’s experience was a 10/10 and amazing. They were up close to the stage in the front of the pit and The Kid LAROI even jumped off the stage into the crowd and crowd-surfed on top of Brayden and Montey. Brayden’s favorite song from the night was, “Diva.”
•Zach Bryan•
Chloe Rogers’s favorite concert she has been to is Zach Bryan. Chloe went to the concert with Haley and Maycee. Her experience was amazing, and she wishes she could go back and relive the concert. They went to the show in Grand Forks, so they took a little road trip to check out the town beforehand! While at the concert, they snuck up to way better seats! Chloe’s favorite song from the night was, “Revival.”
