This week’s Sartell High School featured freshman Kyrianne Eggert is rapidly adjusting to her new life at the high school. During the interview, Kyrianne felt that the most significant change from middle to high school is that she has more homework, but she thinks it’s manageable.
Kyrianne has lived in Sartell for her whole life with her parents, older sister Sadie, younger brother Christian, and two dogs, Millie and Indy.
Kyrianne has been playing volleyball for three years, and this is her first year playing as a high schooler. Her love for volleyball started in seventh grade when she joined the team. Kyrianne decided she was passionate about playing volleyball; it was a fun activity, and she made new friends. She recently made the 17-2 team for off-season volleyball and is looking forward to playing right side and middle. Her favorite memory from volleyball for her first year in high school was going 13-0 this season.
In addition to her favorite colors, songs, food, and movies, Kyrianne enjoys many pastimes. She enjoys playing volleyball, fishing, hunting, and hanging out with friends.
