Sartell High School’s Ella Kirchner is next up in the Senior Spotlight; she has numerous accomplishments and deserves recognition.
Ella is the youngest of three. She has a sister, Morgan, who is 22, and her brother, Johnny, who is 24. She lives with her two parents, Jody and Todd, and her Shih Tzu, Laci, who is currently 11 years old.
When Ella is not busy with work or school, she likes to go for walks, hang out with her friends, do hot yoga, and shop.
During the spring, she does track and field. Last year, she ran in the open 100m dash and the 4×100 relay with Cami Weber, Lexi Mentzer, and Maddie Francois. Her 100m personal record is 12.18 seconds, a school record, and her 4×100 relay record is 50.5 seconds. Ella had the amazing opportunity to compete in the state championship track and field meet this past spring and wanted to share her experience.
Someone Ella looks up to a lot is her brother, Johnny, for many reasons.
Her plan for next year is to attend college at the University of Colorado, Boulder to study biology.
