Since breakfast sandwiches are always a morning-time must, we had to make a review on them. Going from Caribou, Starbucks, Scooters, and Dunkin we will give you honest and beneficial reviews so you won’t waste your money on a bad breakfast sandwich.
Many students want to get breakfast before school, but they worry about time, money, and if it’s worth it, so we saved you the effort and tried some for ourselves. We picked the top four coffee shops in the area and rated each based on price, taste, location, look, and wait time, then gave them a score out of five.

Hadley’s review: “I wouldn’t say I liked the Everything Bagel sandwich, I thought it was different. I would buy it again if the price was a little bit lower to match the quality. I’d give it a 1/5 because the wait time was short, and wouldn’t prevent us from getting to school on time and the sandwich was edible; I just did not enjoy it.”
Tessa’s review: “We tried the Everything Bagel Sandwich at Scooters, which was interesting. This sandwich had sausage, egg, and cheese but for some reason, it was surprisingly sour and spicy at the same time. The sausage was overpowering, you couldn’t even taste the egg or cheese. To me, this sandwich will get a rating of 1/5.”

Hadley’s review: “I like that I could change the bread/bagel the Bacon Egg and Cheese was on, Tessa and I chose an everything bagel, which was hard to cut and made it difficult and messy to eat in the car. I’d rate the sandwich a 3/5 because it tasted good and was worth the price.”
Tessa’s review: “The Bacon Egg and Cheese was not the greatest. You have the choice to pick what kind of bread you would like, and we chose everything seasoned bagel. The bread was overcooked and really hard and dry. When we were cutting in half the plastic knife looked like it was gonna snap. I think if we chose a different bread choice it would be slightly better but the egg isn’t really seasoned at all and it was dry. If I were to rate this sandwich it would be a 2.5/5.”
Item: Turkey Bacon Mini
Price: $4.49
Store location: Sauk Rapids (12 minutes from SHS)
Wait time: About 7 minutes

Hadley’s review: “The sandwich was so good but pretty dry, but paired with coffee it’s perfect. The only thing I would complain about was the wait time, if you were in a rush it would be difficult to get to school on time. I’d only give it 4.5/5.”
Tessa’s review: “The Turkey Bacon Mini wasn’t too bad, but I think that it could have used some sauce, and the bread was coated with flour which made the sandwich dry; I would rate it a 3.5/5.”
Item: Bacon Gouda Egg
Price: $5.65
Store location: Sartell (11 minutes from SHS)
Wait time: about 20 minutes

Hadley’s review: “I think this is the best sandwich so far, but the wait time was pretty bad. If I were to go here again, I would order ahead for in-store pickup. I would still rate the sandwich a 5/5.”
Tessa’s review: “This sandwich was the best by far. Even though they had the same bread as Caribou their bread wasn’t dry at all. The egg was well-seasoned and the bacon and gouda were a great touch to the sandwich. I would definitely get the sandwich again, I will rate this sandwich a 5/5.”
